OUR STORY
Care without compromise.
We're Emily and Sarah - two registered nurses with backgrounds in acute and emergency clinical care.
We started Alter Infusions because we kept seeing the same thing - busy people struggling to access professional healthcare around their schedules. We wanted to change that, without cutting corners on clinical standards.
Every session is delivered by one of us, personally. When you book with Alter Infusions, you get experienced registered nurses who take your care seriously - at your home, workplace, gym, or event, at a time that works for you.
With care,
Emily + Sarah
Co-founders and Registered Nurses
CREDENTIALS
Qualified to care
Every client is cared for by an AHPRA-registered nurse with active clinical experience. This is a nurse-led medical service - not a wellness spa.
AHPRA-registered nurses
Both Emily and Sarah hold current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurses. All services are delivered in line with AHPRA professional and advertising standards.
Medical prescription included
Every infusion is prescribed by a registered medical practitioner following individual health screening. No session proceeds without medical approval.
Emergency nursing backgrounds
Clinical experience in acute and emergency settings - IV cannulation, patient assessment, and clinical monitoring are core competencies.
Clinical monitoring throughout
You are monitored by your nurse for the full duration of every session - vital signs and clinical assessment are standard practice, not optional.
THINGS WE STAND FOR
Three things we'll never compromise on
01
Clinical standards first
We operate as a registered nurse-led medical service. Every decision - clinical or commercial - starts with patient safety.
02
Genuine accessibility
Quality healthcare shouldn't require half a day off. We come to you, at a time that works, without reducing the standard of care.
03
Honest communication
We won't overstate what IV therapy does. We'll tell you clearly what it is and whether it's right for you - before you book.
UNDERSTANDING IV THERAPY
What is IV therapy?
How it's delivered
IV therapy delivers fluids and selected nutrients directly into the bloodstream via a small cannula, allowing nutrients to bypass the digestive system and enter circulation directly.
Who it's suited to
A practical option for individuals with busy or demanding schedules seeking professional hydration and nutrient delivery. All clients undergo individual health screening to confirm suitability.
IV therapy at Alter Infusions is not a treatment or cure for any medical condition. Services are designed to complement - not replace - appropriate medical care. If you have an underlying health condition, please consult your GP before booking.
DELIVERY METHODS
How we deliver nutrients
Three methods of professional nutrient delivery, each selected following individual nursing assessment and medical approval.
IV
Intravenous
Delivered directly into a vein via cannula. Used for hydration infusions and the majority of nutrient add-ons. Sessions run approximately 60–90 minutes.
IM
Intramuscular
Delivered into muscle tissue via a small injection. Used for select premium add-ons including Vitamin D and B12 Methylcobalamin.
SC
Subcutaneous
Delivered into the tissue just beneath the skin. Available for select nutrients following individual assessment and medical prescription.
All services are delivered by AHPRA-registered nurses. Individual medical screening and prescription approval by a registered medical practitioner is required prior to treatment. IV therapy is intended to support hydration and nutrient delivery and is not a substitute for medical treatment or professional healthcare advice. Compounded preparations are sourced through licensed Australian pharmacies operating within TGA regulatory frameworks. Individual responses may vary. If you have a medical condition or are unsure whether this service is appropriate, please consult your GP.
